TMAC Toronto is pleased to host our first educational session for the 2019-2020 season with an insightful Canadian and Global Economic Outlook  as presented by the Bank of Canada.

Following a networking lunch, Laurent Martin (Senior Policy Advisor for the Bank of Canada) will bring his 25 years of economic experience to share views of the BoC, as presented in its latest monetary policy and economic progress reports, on all aspects of the Canadian and global economies.  With the uncertainty and emerging risks facing all of us, personally and professionally, this session will touch on geo-political, economic, environmental and financial market realities, helping practitioners like yourself make more informed decisions.

Join us as we hear from the nation's central bank, whose principal role is to promote the economic and financial welfare of Canada.

Remarks will be off the record and will not necessarily reflect the view of the Bank's Governing Council.

Speaking at this session will be:

LAURENT MARTIN (Bank of Canada):  Laurent brings a Ph.D in Economics and a long history of analytical experience in the field of Canadian economics.  In his current capacity, Laurent acts as a senior policy advisor within the Bank of Canada, contributing to decisions on monetary and fiscal policy that affect each Canadian.
