TMAC would like to share that we have taken steps to build out partnerships with AFP Chapters across Canada, providing you access to a collective Canada-wide series of virtual educational seminars.  For TMAC members, this will now expand the number of sessions you can attend at no cost throughout 2021, with a nominal $25.00 attendance fee assessed on each seminar for non-members.  These partnerships complement our own TMAC sessions and reinforce our key mandates to connect, educate and support our practitioner constituents and will serve to offer additional value to your professional development.

Supply Chain Finance and Optimizing your Working Capital

Organizations are increasingly aware of the economic value contained in their physical supply chain – customers, suppliers, and broader distribution channels particularly as they shift from global to regional and local. Buyer-centric solutions such as Supply Chain Finance (also known as Approved Payables Finance or Reverse Factoring) and Dynamic Discounting have moved from niche to mainstream in the last decade. While the principles are straightforward, there are approaches that you can take to ensure it meets your goals. On November 3 at 12 noon (Eastern) join us for a lively Webcast hosted by TMAC-Toronto and in collaboration with other AFP chapters across on the topic of Supply Chain Finance.

Hosted by John Landry, Treasury and Trade Solutions Head at Citi in Canada, this session will cover:

  • The principles of Supply Chain Finance and trends in the industry to help organizations unlock hidden value and stabilize their supply chain
  • The elements of a successful Supply Chain Finance program, and lessons learned along the way
  • How companies are furthering their ESG commitments and those of their partners through Sustainable Supply Chain Finance programs

John will be joined by Keynote Speaker Pauline Kontos, Citi’s Director, Working Capital Advisory - Americas and by representatives of organizations who have embraced Supply Chain Finance to their benefit.

Keynote Speaker:

Pauline Kontos - Director, Working Capital Advisory - Americas Head at Citi

Pauline brings over 18 years of Trade Finance industry experience. For the past 8+ years, she has worked in Citi’s Trade Finance sales specializing in the Consumer, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, and Technology sectors and has led numerous marquee global Trade Finance deals. Pauline advises Fortune 200 companies on achieving their working capital goals.

We look forward to connecting with you virtually soon!

Sincerely,

TMAC Toronto Board of Directors
